High school and middle school triathlon coaches

Mr. Hiroshi Baba has taught SIS mathematics and coached the triathlon and swim clubs since the founding of the two schools in 1991, logging hundreds of weekends and thousands of kilometers on the road and in the pool. Coach Baba is from Japan.

Ms. Tara Cheney has taught OIS IBDP history, theory of knowledge, extended essay, grade 10 humanities, and middle school English and humanities. She has been teaching at SOIS since 1999 and has coached the triathlon team since 2011. Coach Cheney is from Australia.
