AISA
SOIS is an active founding member of an international activities league called the Association of International Schools in Asia (AISA), which consists of six schools and whose purpose is “to help each other better achieve our schools’ mission statements and philosophies by enhancing current student activities and providing opportunities that are not otherwise available.” AISA member schools are:
  • Kaohsiung American School (KAS) Dragons, https://www.kas.tw/
  • Korea International School (KIS) Phoenix, www.kis.kr
  • Korea International School Jeju (KISJ) Dragons, http://www.kis.ac/
  • Senri & Osaka International Schools (SOIS) Sabers, www.senri.ed.jp
  • Seoul International School (SIS) Tigers, http://siskorea.org/
  • Yokohama International School (YIS) Dragons, www.yis.ac.jp
Through AISA, SOIS students participate in many activities: volleyball (fall); basketball, math mania, and student leadership (winter); and soccer (spring).
Season-ending events are held each year at a league member school on a rotational basis.
