AISA tournament t-shirt designs

SOIS hosts 2 AISA events a year. Part of the AISA tradition is the creation of
a t-shirt commemorating each event.
  • Below is a collection of past AISA tournament t-shirt and stocking cap designs, created      by students and Coach Hirai and design teacher Ms. Carolina Dupont.
  • If you want to submit a design for an upcoming AISA event, please see Coach Heimer.
  • Anyone - young student, old student, faculty, staff, parent - can submit a design.

  • The shirt may be short-sleeve or long-sleeve, cotton or polyester dry-fit - we will announce the style for each event.
  • The shirt color usually will be white, black, gray, or purple - we will announce the color for each event.
  • The design should use only 2 colors - white and/or purple and/or black.
  • The design should include the AISA logo.
  • Format: electronic or paper.
  • If your design is chosen you will receive, along with universal acclaim, a free tournament t-shirt.

AISA girls volleyball tournament t-shirt design
Congratulations and thank you to the following teachers and students who assisted with the design and order of the 2015 AISA girls volleyball tournament t-shirt.
  • HS girls head volleyball coach Ms. Takako Hirai for putting together the final design and ordering the t-shirts.
  • SIS calligraphy teacher Sugishita-sensei for his Japanese kanji brush stroke design on the front of the shirt: 排球 (はいきゅう) haikyuu - a Japanese word for volleyball meaning something like "pushing out a ball with hands". (Sugishita-sensei attempted the calligraphy design 50 times before getting it just right.)
  • OIS 7th graders Minami Matsushima and Marina Ninomiya for the ball and net design on the front.
  • OIS 5th grader Hyo Jin Kim for inspiring the laurel wreath design on the back.
  • SOIS art teacher Ms. Jennifer Henbest for encouraging her students to submit designs.
