WJAA Girls Basketball Championship Tournament, December 9-10, 2016

Congratulations to Coach Cramer and the MC Perry Samurai on their 2016-17 WJAA high school girls varsity basketball championship.
The Samurai were clearly the class of the tournament, winning all 4 games by an average of 13.5 points. The host Sabers played very well also, only to fall short in the championship game. CA were very unfortunate to have lost their star player in the first game to injury; otherwise the Falcons surely would have contended for the title. Results and official scoresheets below.

WJAA Girls Basketball Championship Tournament, January 23-24, 2015

Congratulations to Coach Sagara and Coach Hirai and the SOIS Sabers on their championship.
It was a thrilling championship game that went down to the wire, with the Sabers battling back from 4 points down in the 4th quarter to take a tenuous lead before YIS got off a last-second 3-point shot attempt that would have sent the game into overtime had it gone in. Great stuff from both teams, and great sportsmanship by all teams throughout the tournament.  RESULTS
