2019
14th year: our biggest event yet - 8 schools, 13 teams, A and B divisions.
Congratulations to the 2019 champions SOIS Sabers, both divisions.

The 14th annual Sabers Invitational futsal tourney is in the books. The 2019 event was the biggest ever with 8 schools, 13 teams, 2 divisions, and 32 matches. 2018 champions KAIS Llamas returned to defend their title. Perennial powerhouse MCP Samurai made a return after last year's hiatus. The FIS Sharks made their deepest run in the tournament. In the end, though, host SOIS proved too strong and consistent, with both the Sabers A and B teams going undefeated on the day and capturing 1st place in the A and B divisions. Congratulations to the Sabers and to Coach Entwistle and Coach Nikolic.

2018
13th year
The 2018 tourney is in the books. Big congratulations to Coach Paxton and the Llamas of first-time entrants KAIS from Tokyo, 2018 Sabers Invitational futsal champions.
Great tournament with much parity: Each team won at least 1 match. No team went undefeated. Neither pool winner advanced to the finals. The championship match featured 2 teams who had never made the finals before.
Special recognition: Final Sabers Invitational futsal tournament, both MS and HS,
for FIS coach Paul Ricketts, after 8 years. Coach Ricketts is moving on to Macau.
