AISA tennis 2014 @SOIS, Osaka, Japan
October 16-19, 2014

RESULTS: Congratulations to the Tigers of Seoul International School
The Tigers dominated in all categories, boys and girls, singles and doubles, en route to decisive team titles - a repeat title for the girls and an unbelievable 5th straight AISA team title for the boys. Congratulations and pay raises to Coach Chesterman and Coach Thompson.

One highlight (of many): SIS’s Ashley Park defeated SOIS’s 3-time defending AISA champion Kana Yokoyama in the girls singles finals – the first win over Kana in three tries by Ashley, and Kana’s first and only defeat in her 4 high school years. Heartbreaking for Kana, thrilling for Ashley, a deserved champion.

The sportsmanship award went to the Sabers of host SOIS, though every team was deserving; great sportsmanship and enthusiasm shown by all teams.
