 | Deja vu all over again... The title of this post is similar to the news post announcing last year's season opener. Again, the Sabers middle school baseball team opened the new season with comfortable wins over the Falcons of Canadian Academy (from Kobe), the A team winning 11-1 and the B team winning 13-2. Keita Sasaki, SIS 8th grader and team captain, led the Sabers from the mound, overwhelming the Falcon batters, and from the plate, jacking one ball deep into the bamboo grove beyond the school fence for a home run. Congratulations to Coach Nakamura and Coach Yamada. Thank you, Sagara-sensei, for umpiring. |
