Expectations for participating in MS Girls Basketball
- Practices are every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45 to 5:45.
- Games will be on Saturdays. The season game schedule can be found here. It is subject to change so keep an eye on it and we will confirm dates and who will be playing on this site.
- Players are expected to come to each practice. If you can't come, you should communicate with one of the coaches, Mr. Mecklem or Mrs. Nicholl in advance either in person or via email: kmecklem@senri.ed.jp. If you email, put basketball practice in the subject line. Please don't just rely on telling a friend, communicate with one of the coaches or as a last resort the managers.
- If you have other activities and can't come on both Tuesday and Thursday, you can come once a week but talk to us in advance. You may be less likely to play on the weekend but you can still have fun.
- When you come to practice, be prepared to listen and learn, work hard, and have fun! We have a lot of people interested in basketball and if you can't live up to those expectations then there really is no reason to come.
- If you come to practice and work hard, you will get opportunities to play. It might not be every Saturday but we will get you in at least some games.
