This season's development squad of new and upcoming players travelled to Rokko Island with Coach Namba on Saturday to play against Canadian Academy.
SOIS C ( 1-3 ) CA C SOIS C ( 6-0 ) CA C Well done Sabers! Congratulations to the SOIS Sabers for placing 2nd and 4th in the Sabers Invitational Tournament this weekend. SOIS A team played some great football, scoring 31 goals and conceding 1 on their way to a 4 wins / 1 loss record and second place in the tournament. SOIS B showed tremendous spirit to beat NIS A, and only narrowly lost to ISSH A team in the 3rd/4th place game. Congratulations to May Murakami-Smith for winning the competition's Golden Boot trophy for top scorer with 11 goals (and to Suono Fujii for coming a very close second with 10 goals). Together they scored more goals than all four of the ISSH and NIS A and B teams combined...

Players and managers need to collect a blue sheet on Tuesday and get permission from their teachers to miss classes on Friday. Please give the blue sheet to your teachers on Tuesday/Wednesday next week. On Saturday, the Development Squad will also travel to CA for 2 games against the Canadian Academy C team.
