SOIS fall trimester classes have not started yet, but the Sabers teams have already started their winning ways. 

• The HS boys volleyball team, under Coach Mitsuhashi and Coach Majima, have hosted and defeated both Marist Brothers (MBIS) and Canadian Academy CA).
• The HS girls volleyball team, under Coach Hirai and Coach Garces, have played at Marist Brothers and have hosted and defeated Kyoto International University Academy (KIUA).
• The MS baseball team, under Coach Nakamura and Coach Yamada, defeated the MBIS Bulldogs in an A team-B team double header.
• The running and trathlon club, with Coach Baba and Coach Cheney, competed throughout the summer.

The Sabers athletic year runs from late August through the end of June - fall, winter, and spring trimesters. Each year, all SOIS student-athletes who want to participate in Sabers athletics must complete the Sabers Sign-Up process. They need to do this only once a year. More information and online forms can be found at here, 

Students who do not sign up will not be allowed to practice. So don't forget: sign up to play, sign up to win!
