The MS boys B team traveled to Rokko Island on a perfect, late summer morning to take on the Falcons of the Canadian Academy. The Falcons jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the first inning, before the Sabers battled back to lead 12-5 going into the last inning. The Falcons came back, scoring 7 runs to tie the game, which ended 12-12.
The Sabers were led by the bats of Masashi Miyawaki who homered and Myoung Jun Kim who tripled. The Sabers B team continues to work on consistent accurate pitching. Shortstop Leon scored three times in the game. The team demonstrated good sportsmanship and they look forward to this coming Saturday's games on the new field at Marist Brothers International School in Suma, Kobe.
