Both the Sabers boys and girls high school soccer teams competed in Western Japan Athletics Association (WJAA) championship tournaments, March 6-7, 2015.

At Canadian Academy (CA) in Kobe, the boys defeated host CA and Yokohama International School (YIS) twice each to go undefeated and take home the 2015 WJAA championship trophy. The boys conceded no goals in the 4 matches while scoring a total of 12 goals in a dominant performance. Congratulations, Coach Driver and Coach Entwistle (and chaperone Coach Routh).

At the KG Sanda campus, SOIS hosted the WJAA tournament, featuring teams CA from Kobe and YIS from Yokohama, plus the Sabers JV team. In the end the CA Falcons went undefeated, beating the Sabers 1-0 in the championship match, to take home the 2015 WJAA title. Congratulations, Falcons. 

The Sabers JV put in a superb effort in their 3 pool games, and the 3rd/4th place game, whilst the Sabers varsity team played exciting attacking football throughout the tournament, pushing CA right to the final whistle in the championship match.

For the Sabers girls, Fuka Ugai, Fuka Kariya, May Murakami-Smith, China Mori and Haruna Tomiguchi were named to the all-tournament team.
